You are buying a lathe-cut record. Groove geometry, loudness, and wear differ from a stamped pressing. That honesty is the product: a real disc with your music in it, made one at a time, without waiting for metal.

Pick a format
Size, sides, speed, and how many. Stay under 100, or we send you to the plant.

Send the audio
WAV or AIFF, one file per side. We will not pretend an MP3 is a master, but we will tell you if it will cut.

Labels and sleeve
Centre labels and a paper sleeve as standard. Printed jackets come later in the builder.
04
We cut, you play
Each disc is precision-cut in real time, packed, and shipped UK-first. Checkout is not live on this site yet.

These are public “from” prices for a single-sided cut of the same audio, invented to sit with current UK short-run menus — not Sonic Wax pressing packages. Confirm before anyone is charged. VAT and shipping are extra. Quantity brings the unit cost down.

Double-sided is typically about one and a half times a single side. Need 100 or more of the same record? That is a job for the press.
100 copies and up
When the run is a release, press it.
Short-run cutting does not replace plant pressing. Above ninety-nine copies of the same audio, unit cost and consistency belong on a press. Sonic Wax Pressing is the sister company: 7" and 12", colour vinyl, printed labels and sleeves, typical four-week turnaround, 100-unit minimum.

Vinyl Pressing UK is the boutique short-run face of the Sonic Wax family. People search for pressing when they want music on wax. For one to ninety-nine copies, the way that actually happens is a precision lathe cut — made to order, in the UK.
We are not selling a stamped pressing under another name. Groove geometry, loudness, and wear are different. What you get is a real disc with your music in it, hand-crafted one at a time, without waiting for stampers.
Checkout is not open on vinylpressinguk.com yet. Start an order to walk the spec. Audio and artwork go to draft object storage when Cloudflare R2 is configured — they are not an order.
